You will also have the opportunity to upload a CV at this stage.

Stage 2 - GSK Psychometric Tests

The next stage of the GSK application process is an invite to complete the World of GSK online assessment. You are presented with videos featuring GSK colleagues and then asked workplace scenario based questions around the presented material. The World of GSK assessment is untimed but usually takes around 45-60 minutes to complete. You can expect to be assessed on the following:

  • Numerical Reasoning
  • Situational Judgement
  • Verbal Reasoning
  • Logical Reasoning

There is also the potential to be given HackerRank assessments which assess technical programming skills for specific roles.

Stage 3 - GSK Life Job Simulation

The next stage of the GSK hiring process is the GSK Life job simulation. You will be presented with a scenario with some key business facts and asked to respond through video, writing and multiple choice. We will also ask you more about why you want to work here and, if you have applied for a technical role, there will be some technical questions. You are not timed in the assessment however are required to complete it within 5 days of your invitation.

Stage 4 - GSK Assessment Centre

The next step is an invitation to the GSK Assessment Centre. You will spend half a day taking part in immersive exercises. These may include individual exercises, a group or paired exercise and a strengths-based interview. Depending on your chosen programme, you might also have to give a presentation and complete a practical or technical exercise. You will receive more information in your assessment centre invite. After this stage you will hear back regarding an offer.

About Other GSK Psychometric Tests

IBM integrates all psychometric tests into its World of GSK test and GSK Life job simulation. Alongside numerical reasoning assessments, GSK also includes verbal reasoning and situational judgement tests to ensure a fair and structured evaluation. Verbal reasoning tests measure English language comprehension, while situational judgement tests, presented through online interview questions, assess critical thinking and decision-making in workplace scenarios.

For technical roles, GSK uses coding assessments to evaluate role-specific programming skills, featuring realistic scenario based tasks. These may be completed online or present themselves at the Assessment Centre. Succeeding in these assessments requires strong analytical abilities, accuracy, and effective time management.
