Santander Application Process

Stage 1 - Online Application Form

The Santander application process starts with filling out an application form on the Santander Careers website. Stage 3 - Santander Video Interview

The Santander Video Interview is a virtual interview conducted online. The digital interview consists of questions which aim to find out about an applicant’s overall suitability for the role. You will be asked 4-5 questions which aim to see if the candidate is able to demonstrate examples of where they have shown certain behaviours / skills which are relevant to the role and Santander’s values. You have up to 7 days to complete this stage and are able to pause and return to complete it at any point within this timeframe. It is essential to be well prepared for your responses through practising common interview questions as well as to be in a quiet, well-lit environment. Your results from the online tests and the interview are reviewed simultaneously before progressing to the next stage.

Stage 4 - Discussing your skills and the role in more detail

After your application has been reviewed, a member of Santander’s resourcing team will be in touch to arrange a call. This lasts approximately 20 minutes and helps Santander to deeper understand your skills and what you have to offer to the team.

Stage 5 - Interview or Assessment Centre

The final stage of the Santander hiring process is an invitation to an interview or Assessment Centre. Within the invitation you will be sent more information on what to expect on the day. You will be likely to take part in individual and group exercises aimed at helping you to learn more about the business and the company values.  This is an opportunity for Santander to formally assess your competencies as well as for you to ask more questions about the role.
